God won't cancel you.

Can you image if God cancelled us as quickly as some of our fellow human beings? Aren’t we so lucky God doesn’t turn his back on us because of our mistakes? Because He doesn’t agree with our thoughts and words and deeds?

I don’t know about you but I would have been cancelled a long time ago.

From my point of view what plagues our nation is not any kind of virus rather that we as a society at large have forgotten who we are and why we are here and where we are going. We are too quick to point our fingers at others, drawing attention to their “faults” (aka often times the one thing that makes us different than them) and calling for their crucifixion.

There is a huge difference between privately choosing to vote differently with your dollars, and the modern day witch hunts we’re seeing all more often by way of finding out who did what, publicly denouncing, rallying others to do the same, contacting businesses, etc etc...

At the end of the day the only person who’s judgment matters is our Heavenly Fathers. His is the opinion I hold dearest to my heart. His is the ONLY one that matters. We are commanded to love our neighbor as ourselves, are we not? Could it be that by condemning others we are only bringing a harsher judgment upon ourselves?

Matthew 7: 1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

I may not understand you, I may not agree with you, but I will always *try to* see the good in you. And ultimately be grateful it isn’t my job to cast judgment for I would surely get it wrong, and that’s a load that’s far too heavy to bear.

I love you all, friends. Even in our differences, you are always welcome here. XO, E ☀️
