I hear it every day…
“I’m afraid.”
“My body is too small.”
“What if something happens?”
“My body can’t/won’t”
“Can’t, can’t can’t”
“Won’t won’t won’t”
The world teaches us these things. Society tells us to fear the very thing we were created to do. But don’t you know who made you? You were fearfully and wonderfully made in His image and for this purpose and God does not make mistakes. Your divine purpose is to participate in the beautiful gift of giving life.
Thoughts and mindset matter. This isn’t new. There is great power in thinking and manifestation. What you feed is what will grow. Don’t feed the doubt. Don’t feed the fear. Do you really believe you can’t? Or is it something you’ve been told for so long that you’ve forgotten?
You have ALL THE POWER YOU NEED INSIDE OF YOU. When the world tells you that you can’t, it’s up to you to remind yourself, YOU CAN.
There is great purpose in the journey, in the process, in the pain. You come out on the other side with your sweet baby in your arms and you don’t ever doubt your ability to do anything EVER again. And there you have it; an empowered, confident woman, ready to take on the challenges of Motherhood.
This is what the gift of giving life gives you. This is how it should be, and it’s what I want for every woman, no matter what it looks like for her. Take ownership of your experience. No one cares more than you and you deserve the best, mama. And yes, YOU CAN. #erinsbirthtalks
