What the world doesn’t tell you is that the baby you now hold in your arms will teach you more about yourself than anything else. That every sleepless night spent worrying, watching, waiting, feels small compared to the lifetime of insurmountable love you will feel for that tiny baby. That your baby growing up a little bit each day will both break your heart + make it sing with joy. That you become a mother and your purpose is made clear. That you’d give anything to keep them safe, warm, happy and healthy. These little humans become your whole world. Will you have hard days? Absolutely. Will you feel like you’re losing your mind at times? 100%. You give up a lot when you become a mother but the amount of joy you feel when you lean fully into intentional and deliberate motherhood makes every sacrifice more than worth it.
